She has over 15 years of experience in research administration, serving in various capacities, spanning the sectors of basic science, translational, clinical, social behavioral and education research within the pharmaceutical, academic, and biomedical research industries. In the earlier part of her career, Ms. Dollar-Long successfully managed multi-million-dollar research portfolios and helped to secure continued extramural funding at highly esteemed academic and research institutions, such as the University of Miami and Florida International University (FIU), both of which are located in the south Florida region. She also successfully established and led a team of leaders for an institutional wide initiative to enhance the core competencies of minority Latin students at FIU. Most recently and prior to joining CNU, Ms. Dollar-Long served as a senior administrator for grants and contracts at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) in Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked closely with and provided high level research administrative support for cancer, diabetes, computational and drug development research scientists. Ms. Dollar-Long is a proud native of Miami, Florida; however, she’s expressed how much she absolutely loves living in the Elk Grove area. She also has a passion for singing and has been afforded the opportunity to participate in remarkable musical collaborations and productions over the years.
