Class of 2021 - Graduation


Regalia

Faculty are to pick up their regalia from their Student Affairs Department prior to graduation if they ordered it from Jostens. The student Affairs Department will notify you once the order arrives. Faculty are to return their rented regalia back to the Student Affairs Department folded, put back in plastic package and labeled with a first and last name, on Monday May 17th by 5:00pm.

If Faculty rented from the Operations Department, they are to return their regalia to Natalie Vachalek on Monday May 17th. Regalia must remain in the condition it was received in. If anything is missing the individual is responsible for replacement of the missing item. If there are any stains are tearing the individual is responsible for cleaning or repair prior to returning.

Day of Information

Ceremony 1: College of Pharmacy and College of Health Sciences

Time: 10:00 to 11:30 am

Faculty are to arrive at Golden 1 Center at 9:00 am and will meet at the Jerry Reynolds Media entrance (Northeast Entry) located on 7th and K. Faculty will check in with the CNU representative. Faculty must show proof of vaccination upon entry of Golden 1 Center and go through a security check point. At 9:30am the designated Student Affairs lead will then take all the faculty to the holding location and all faculty will line up. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 am.

There will be no storage location, any items you bring with you, you must hold. Please refer to the Golden 1 website regarding bags. Horns, frisbees, beach balls, etc. are not allowed.

Ceremony 2: College of Medicine and Masters of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm

Faculty are to arrive at Golden 1 Center at 12:30 pm and will meet at the Jerry Reynolds Media entrance (Northeast Entry) located on 7th and K. Faculty will check in with the CNU representative. Faculty must show proof of vaccination upon entry of Golden 1 Center and go through a security check point. At 1:00 pm the designated Student Affairs lead will then take all the faculty to the holding location and all faculty will line up. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. Suggest having no bags as there will be no storage location. Horns, frisbees, beach balls, etc. are not allowed.

Ticket Information

Please note the following:

  • Section 122 and Section 105 are reserved for Faculty
  • Section 122 will be used by Ceremony 1 faculty. Faculty will walk in with the procession and then head to Section 122.
  • You will need to enter your cnsu.edu email to be able to redeem tickets.
  • If a faculty/staff member needs to reserve tickets for a clinical person who does not have a cnsu.edu email address you will need to reserve tickets and then transfer them to the recipient

Proof of Vaccination or Negative (-) Test

All individuals must show their ticket (if a student or faculty on the floor a ticket is not required), a government issued identification, and either:

  • CDC COVID-19 vaccination card (photo is acceptable) showing receipt of both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least seven days prior to the event or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least 14 days prior to the event.
  • Written proof (email is acceptable) of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test within 72 hours of the event.
  • All children ages 2+ must show a negative test.
