The Office of the Registrar supports the education of students at California Northstate University by providing assistance and services to students, alumni, faculty and staff of the University.

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the University’s official student records and safeguards the privacy and security of those records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

The Office of the Registrar:

  • Maintains the academic record of each student who enrolls at the university;
  • Provides information about registration and grading;
  • Issues University transcripts, diplomas and enrollment verifications for students and alumni;
  • Publishes class schedules, academic catalog, and academic calendars;
  • Collaborates with academic departments on implementing, adapting and improving policies and procedures;
  • Reports student enrollment data;
  • Delivers FERPA training to students, faculty, and staff.

The Office of the Registrar is a primary information resource for students, faculty and staff. This office explores ways to better meet the changing needs of the CNU Community and strives to be a leader in the use of technology-based solutions.
