Many pharmacy learners and professionals are unaware of the diverse career opportunities available to PharmD graduates beyond traditional patient care roles. As healthcare evolves through advances in AI, digital health, data science, and innovation, pharmacists are increasingly contributing in informatics, industry, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, research, administration, consulting, entrepreneurship, and health technology. Greater awareness of how PharmD competencies translate across these settings is essential for career planning and mentorship. This event will highlight pharmacists' experiences in diverse roles, increasing participants' understanding of emerging career pathways, AI's impact on the profession, and strategies for supporting career exploration in a changing healthcare environment.

Bias and Barriers to Care Training

2027 Pharmacy Residency Symposium

Every year the College of Pharmacy, Sacramento Valley Pharmacists Association, and the California Society of Health System Pharmacists host symposium featuring the pharmacy residents sharing the results of their clinical research. This is an opporutnity for residents, seasoned pharmacists, pharmacy students and other pharmacy professionals to gather for a meal and share learning and insights about disease states and best practices in diagnoses and treatments to improve patient health outcomes. CNU home study CE activities are knowledge-based courses based upon previously recorded live-online presentations. These activities involve the following steps:

Step 1: Review Course Information, Accreditations and Complete the Pre-Activity Test
Step 2: Watch the video presentation.
Step 3: Take the Post-Activity Test and Course Evaluation

After completing Step 3 you will be notified within 14 -20 days how to claim your CEs or you will receive your notice of completion.
