The California Northstate University (CNU) Bachelor of Science (BS)
to Medical Doctor (MD) Early Assurance Honors Track (BS-MD) is a
unique partnership between CNU’s
College of Health Sciences
and
College of Medicine

Designed for highly motivated first-time undergraduate freshmen who
aspire to become physicians, the BS-MD Early Assurance Honors Track
offers a structured pathway toward a career in medicine. Transfer
students may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Admission to the
program is highly selective and requires approval from both the
College of Health Sciences and the College of Medicine Admissions
Committees.
The CNU BS-MD Early Assurance Honors Track offers an innovative
educational experience that combines rigorous academic preparation
with early exposure to clinical environments. Through intentional
alignment of undergraduate and medical school curricula, meaningful
interactions with faculty and advisors, and hands-on experiential
learning opportunities, students develop a strong foundation for
success in medical school and beyond. The program is designed to
support academically talented students as they pursue their goal of
becoming future physicians and healthcare leaders.
