The California Northstate University (CNU) Bachelor of Science (BS) to Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Honors Track (BS-DMD) is a unique partnership between CNU’s College of Health Sciences and and College of Dental Medicine.
Designed for highly motivated first-time undergraduate freshmen who aspire to become dentists, the BS-DMD Honors Track offers a structured pathway toward a career in dental medicine. Transfer students may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Admission to the program is highly selective and requires approval from both the College of Health Sciences and the College of Dental Medicine Admissions Committees.
The CNU BS-DMD Honors Track offers an innovative educational experience that combines rigorous academic preparation with early exposure to dental medicine. Through intentional alignment of undergraduate and dental school curricula, meaningful interactions with faculty and advisors, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities, students develop a strong foundation for success in dental school and beyond. The program is designed to support academically talented students as they pursue their goal of becoming future dentists and oral healthcare leaders.
