Maintenance and Progression Through the
BS-DMD Honors Track
All of the following requirements must be satisfied for BS-DMD Honors Track
students to be admitted to the CNU College of Dental Medicine (CDM). Failure to meet any
requirement at any time will revoke conditional acceptance to CNU CDM.

coursework required by the CHS Biomedical Sciences Program, including the
BS-DMD Honors Track coursework;
- Complete all coursework with a grade of B (grade point 3.0) or higher on the first attempt (a grade of B- will not meet the requirement);
- Maintain full-time status (at least 12 units) for Fall and Spring terms;
- Participate in a minimum of one professional or academic activity offered by
CNU CDM each year;
- Complete a capstone research project, thesis, or experience in biomedical
sciences, global health, or health equity before DMD coursework begins;
- Complete CHS Service-Learning experiential coursework before DMD coursework begins;
- Score at least 440 on the DAT, after at most three (3) attempts by May of year 3;

- Meet the CNU CDM Technical Standards;
- Provide a letter of recommendation from the CNU CHS Health Professions

The student may also be eligible for the CNU CHS Pathways opportunities.
